The Defining milestones
1972
The Start of a Revolutionary Journey
The humble beginnings, Windsor Exhaust Centre opened its doors for the repair and custom exhaust jobs to a wide range of motor vehicles.
1978
Unveiling the Vision of Possibilities
Alfred Woodbury, a dedicated employee and passionate car enthusiast, acquired Windsor Exhaust Centre from the current owners. Driven by his vision to expand services and capitalize on his interest in the automotive industry, he seized the opportunity to embark on the journey of building his own legacy.
1984
Leading the Way
Muffler Supply Co started manufacturing chrome car tips and importing car mufflers from Japan.
1995
The Birth of Chromend Supply Co
Chromend Supply Co was started – the manufacturing of chrome tips continued under a new brand launched ‘Blue Diamond Chrome’.
1998
Introducing the Flowtech Brand
The manufacturing of heavy duty and truck mufflers continued to grow and was rebranded under the brand ‘Flowtech Silencers’.
2008
The Chromend's Expansion
Due to continuing demand and growth, Chromend moved into their purpose-built factory in Richmond NSW, enabling them to increase their production capacity and expand their range.
2011
The Rise of Silverback Chrome
Silverback Chrome was established as a response to the increased need for high-quality Chrome exhaust parts, capable of meeting the EURO EMISSION standards for new trucks and withstanding high temperatures. The team searched for a diverse range of components and ultimately found the solution in the heart of America, leading to the birth of Silverback Chrome.
2016
The Rebranding
Chromend Supply Co Rebranded as CSC Exhaust Parts.
2017
The Next Level Bends Manufacturing
CSC acquired 3x Mandrel bender machines to begin producing bends inhouse using mild, aluminised and stainless material.
2019
Shifting Gear with Acquisition & Rebranding
CSC evolved beyond exhausts and diversified its product offerings, leading to a rebranding as CSC Group Australia. As part of this transformation, the Silverback Chrome underwent a name change to Silverback Armour to reflect the incorporation of chrome and stainless parts that are exclusively designed for trucks.
The Present
CSC Group has evolved over the years to what it is today….focusing on making it easier to control, protect and enhance motor vehicles and machines.
We do this by having dedicated Product Specialists that can offer reliable solutions and advice on specific product categories.
This provides the ultimate customer experience by aiming to deliver the exact goods you need, to the exact place you specify by the exact time its required.
The Future
What’s Next? – In 2024, CSC Group is planning to relocate to a purpose built facility of approx. 8000m2 in order to continue our long standing tradition of Delivering Excellence.
